The single photo is the demonstration; the pattern is the danger. One image gives a place and a second. A handful of images from the same camera share a serial number, and their coordinates cluster around the few places a person actually spends time — home, work, the school gate. Nobody had to follow anyone. This is why forensic investigators care about metadata, and why platforms that strip it are doing you a favour you never asked for.
